(See iTunes Connect guide page 145: "Always remove the status bar from screenshots.") They don't want AT&T screenshots in their store when they no longer have a contract with AT&T. AT&T might sue them for trade mark infringement (if AT&T is stupid, and we all know they aren't, don't we?). I just changed it to a space in my screencasts, and screenshots.
